Rabbi Shalom & Aharona Lubin
founded Chabad of SE Morris County in the Fall of 2002.
Born and raised in Chicago, Rabbi Lubin’s involvement
with the New Jersey Jewish Community in began in 1996
while studying at the Rabbinical College of America.
His Rabbinic training took him to Sydney Australia, Minsk, Belarus,
and Microsoft Headquarters in Bellview, Washington.
Born in Maryland and raised in Southern California, Aharona Lubin
studied Early Childhood Education in Melbourne, Australia,
and served as a Teen Director at Chabad of Tarzana and
Program Coordinator at Chabad of Syracuse University.
Together, they have turned Chabad of SE Morris County
into a flourishing community center hosting a wide array
of Adult education classes, lectures, activities, life-cycle events
and humanitarian programs and pastoral services for all ages.
In 2007, they founded the New Jersey Jewish Law Symposium,
an annual event now attracting over 800 attorneys and judges
that highlights the synthesis and integration of the Talmud,
the Jewish Legal System, and U.S. Civil Law.
They are the incredibly proud parents of eight children.
